The EK 100 Chain Cutter for medium excavators represents the transition point within the EK Chain Cutters range from high-output trenching to true heavy-duty cutting performance. Built on KEMROC’s patented chain cutting technology, EK 100 is designed for projects where cutting depth, torque, and material resistance exceed the limits of compact-class attachments.

Developed for medium excavators in the 18–30 ton class, EK 100 delivers controlled excavation without impact, allowing operators to work in demanding ground conditions with predictable cutting behavior and reduced vibration. Instead of fracturing material through percussive force, the EK system applies continuous cutting, resulting in clean trench geometry, stable machine operation, and consistent production rates.

With the capability to cut soil, concrete, and medium to hard rock formations up to 80 MPa UCS, EK 100 chain cutter is ideally suited for infrastructure trenching, deep utility corridors, road construction, and heavy civil engineering works where precision and power must go hand in hand.
